Gratitude: That’s what I can offer…………..only Gratitude.

Being noticed for a job well done is both gratifying and validating. Thank you for noticing and appreciating the little things and always finding a way to offer a compliment or a word of encouragement. Your sincere appreciation made me feel like a valued member of this team and for that, I am in eternal gratitude.
Above all,I remember the The most precious teachings of Bible study with you ma’am.It was only platform where I could meet you ,listen to your voice and learn from your experiences through the word of God .The best memories are with you when you started “EXODUS’’ your words have inspired me alot.

Beloved Sister,
What a Privilege to have known you. Your exhortations to Christian Women were gentle yet Powerful, focussed always on the Gospel. My late Evangelist husband Rev. Solomon Bodhan and I, admired her deep commitment to Christ, working ceaselessly to better the prospects of the young lives in their care. Our daughter had the privilege of studying at Mount Carmel school for some time. How assuring are the Promises of our Saviour God ...
" ...WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT...ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD. " Mt. 25:23
BLESSED IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS. Ps.116:15

“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:6, ESV)

Mrs. Neena Mohini Williams lived her life as a true servant of Christ. She was a gifted leader with a burden for children. Called as an educator, she lived her life pouring out herself into her teachers and students alike. I benefitted from her vision as a student of MCS, Dwarka from 2001-2014. More than the legacy she left behind, she proclaimed the Gospel of Christ and we believe she finished this race well. We give thanks for her life and pray for her as she has departed from us, only until we see her again in eternity.
Till then, as she would want us - let us take this light, and let it shine!

with the demise of Mrs Williams, an era of faith, love, compassion, dedication ended around us. Working with her was a life time opportunity for me. She always motivated and encouraged to strive for the better version of ourselves. The vacuum that has got created will not be filled by any one else. At this moment I am remembering her one suggestion to the 12th Grade students during their graduation day "Finish well, no matter how hard your journey is, always look up to the goal and finish well." ma'am, today your life is teaching us the real meaning of finishing well. You are the person whose life must be celebrated. I have already started missing you. Mount Carmel Schools will never be the same without you. May you rest in complete peace ma'am. Love you.

I Dr. N SELVARAJ, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Dyal Singh College, Delhi University. I heard about our Ma’am and sir’s great contribution to give education to the poor and marginalized society.
It was really shocking to her demise. I heard about ma’am through my friend Prof. Munni . I wished to meet her for my son’s admission but she had left us.
Jesus was born and liberated poor, diseased and people by his service. Therefore Christ is immortal.
I believe that our sir and Ma’am are immortal by their works. We do remember forever and will carry their legacy for the people and to the people.
My heartfelt condolences to family and friends .

I am grateful that Mrs. Williams & Mr. Williams established the esteemed institute of MCS where I spent the most crucial years of my life & took away some hard, eseential lessons for future. The institute imparted knowledge through ways which were not restricted to just books. Knowlege that has shaped me as a person today, for that I am thankful to Mrs. Williams. MCS will forever be synonyms with her and the discipline with which she ran the show. May she find peace and take solace in the fact that many a lives were shaped & touched in a positive light because of her & MCS.

May Her soul Rest in Peace.
Class 12 year 1990. We were so fortunate that Mrs Williams taught us English Literature and thanks to her creativity, playfulness, enthusiasm, high energy, dramatics, knowledge and outgoing nature in the classroom; and her fondness of the subject, she instilled a love for literature and language in many of us. She will be remembered for the positive impact on many a student's spiritual, academic and professional life. Gone but will never be forgotten.

She was an inspiration and the embodiment of an excellent woman. I remember her elegance, graciousness and humility that radiated from her. As a student of MCS and a resident of MCS hostel for two years, she was a role model for me. The vision of the founders of the school and their values made this place a greatly cherished part of my life. I'm truly thankful that I received the warmth of a home here.
As I watched the funeral service, I saw the celebration of a purposeful life lived fully glorifying God and changing lives. That is the best we can strive for in this life.
I'm grateful to have been touched by her presence.
Heartfelt condolences to her family and the MCS family. She shall be missed greatly.

Aunty Williams, as we her sunday school children used to call her, had impacted my young life like no other. The lessons she taught are imprinted on our hearts. It was in one of her sunday school classes where she was taking us through the passion week of Christ did I rededicated my life to Christ. She learnt to teach and never kept what she learnt to herself but always imparted it. A true visionary with foresight..... She thought ahead and taught us likewise.
The little things she did for her sunday school students made such a deep impact.... Truly unforgettable...
A major role she played in my life was when my father died and she having been beside my mother during those last moments at CMC Vellore could handle a shaken up teenager in me over the phone to restore my faith in God.
Right from arranging for my marriage, to opening her home to host us and the extended family.... She was a humble and extremely large hearted woman. During our need to clarify certain issues, we could approach her confidently knowing she would give a very sound godly advice.
Her Bible studies and daily devotions were meticulously penned and shared. It was an honour and privilege to know her and we are blessed to have been mentored by her. Aunty looking forward to seeing you in glory very soon....with your beautiful smile.

Ma'am you were an immense inspiration for me, what with the liveliness with which you did everything, the confidence in your actions and the compassion in your voice, I found it mesmerising to sit and listen to you. I remember being giddy with excitement on the rare and wonderful occasions you would come to the junior school. I find it so sorrowful that the oncoming generations of little Mount Carmelites won't be able to listen to your enchanting tales and affectionate words. Thank you so much for everything you did. Rest in Peace Ma'am, we will never forget you.

We are blessed to have had Williams ma'am grace our lives with not just her strong, forgiving, fun and warm presence but also her teachings. Just last week I was watching one of her morning assembly lectures on YouTube along with my parents who were also inspired and guided by the Williams family's teachings through us - students of MCS. I am delighted to see so many MCS alumni who sincerely work hard and give back to the world in many ways. In this the legacy of both Mr. ans Mrs. Williams multiplies manifold. Kids spend a majority of their time at school and having solid, grounded and faithful principals, as well as teachers who co-parent them in many ways, can truly shape them to become better adults. We were so lucky to get the best of values instilled in us, something I wish more schools did, and did so with conviction. The true value of those life lessons are learned as we grow older. For who I now am and everything, I thank you Mr. and Mrs. Williams and the extended MSC family. May we all find peace.

It's the end of an Era. Our Hogwarts lost its Professor Dumbledore. Mount Carmel School won't be the same without you. You had a calming presence in my life like that of a mother. You were a role model to a lot of us. I was always in awe of your elegance, grace and charm. Thank you for all the lessons you imparted during the morning assemblies about the importance of perseverance, discipline and ofcourse our discussion on the difference between a vowel and syllable... I still can't believe you are no longer with us but rest assured you'll always be within us. Rest in Peace Ma'am.

More than a teacher, ma'am was a mentor and a parent to me. My most precious memory with her is when I was in 1st grade, standing in the front line during a dance for our school's sports day. As I performed, my eyes caught hers, and in my excitement, I couldn't resist waving to ma'am. The moment she waved back, my happiness knew no bounds.

I miss you, ma'am; you had such a profound impact on my life. The only consolation I have is knowing that you're in a better place now. Rest in peace 🤍

My deepest sympathies go out to Michael Sir and his family during this incredibly challenging time. Mrs. Williams, with her warm and ever-smiling face, was an integral part of Mount Carmel School. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mount Carmel School will never be the same without her guiding presence and the wisdom she shared. Mrs. Williams will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories.

We are very much shocked and saddened on hearing of the sudden passing away of our dear sister Mrs Neena Williams. We are from Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. We are in Amritsar, Punjab for the past 35 years, fully involved in the work of the Lord. We were introduced to Bro Vijay Williams and sister Neena Williams in 1993 by some brothers of Roorkee. From that time brother and sister had been a very great source of strength and encouragement for us. We have come to them on many occasions for guidance and counselling. Whenever we had to take major decisions, and whenever there was any dispute among responsible brothers in our local churches in Punjab, we come to them for advice and suggestions.
The annual Convocations and Youth Camps organised by our dear brother and sister in Mount Carmel was a great blessing for all of us. Believers from many churches of North India could come together and have a very fruitful time of fellowship. We used to come in large numbers from Amritsar and each time were revived and refreshed in the faith. We could learn many spiritual lessons in those occasions.
Our dear brother and sister are ardent preachers of the gospel of the grace of God. They use every opportunity to make known the way of salvation very clearly to everyone they meet. Our dear sister’s ministry as a resource person in Haggai Institute has been a very great blessing to many Christian Leaders. And her ministry among sisters has brought about much edification in many assemblies. Seeing all this has motivated us to preach the gospel always with all boldness and get deeply involved in the ministry of the Word of God.
My wife and myself have come to Mount Carmel to witness some of the the annual dramas conducted by Sister Williams. Many Biblical stories were enacted by the students in a very interesting manner. We could learn many spiritual truths displayed with much clarity and simplicity. We were amazed to see our dear sister’s remarkable skill and ability in the preparation and presentation of the historical events. Many children were able to display and sharpen their skills by the involvement and persistent efforts of our dear sister.
The passing away of our dear brother and sister is an irreplaceable loss for all the believers of North India. Personally, we now, do not have any such loving and caring persons, who pray fervently and get involved in our life and ministry in Punjab.
This is an irreparable loss for us but a gain for paradise. Good bye for now, till we meet on the other shore.

I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of William Aunty, a truly inspiring woman who held a special place in my heart. She was not only a role model, but also a spiritual godmother to me.

Our relationship spanned several decades. Uncle and Aunty's unwavering concern for my family and me was a constant source of comfort and support during critical moments in our lives.

The impact of their kindness was profound, from arranging my parents' wedding to becoming pillars of support when my father passed away. In moments of adversity, Aunty guided my mother, encouraging her to embark on a career at MCS, where she dedicated 19 years of service until her retirement in 2022. Aunty was a spiritual teacher and a source of counsel for my mother, especially during challenging times like when we had to leave our family home due to a dispute. Her comforting guidance left an indelible mark.

Apart from being a student of MCS throughout my schooling, I had the privilege of being part of William Aunty's Sunday class. Her teachings significantly shaped my faith and relationship with God. More than 15 years later, I still remember some of her teachings. I vividly remember her straightforward nature, never hesitating to correct and admonish when necessary. Aunty's concern for education and marriage was ever-present, and she made genuine efforts to find a suitable match for me. I am grateful that she gave the wedding toast at my wedding reception in 2018, and uncle officiated the wedding. Our last meeting, where she met my 9-month-old son, holds a special place in my heart, marked by her joyous exclamation, "Main teri mummy ki Sunday school teacher hoon."

Aunty was an extremely talented woman - an eloquent speaker, a teacher, a storyteller, a director (for our christmas plays/productions) . I will always remember her for her unwavering zeal to serve and honor the Lord using her talents for His glory.

William Aunty lived a blessed life, leaving a lasting impact on countless individuals. We thank God for the privilege of knowing Aunty and for the exemplary role model she was to us. Although she may no longer be with us physically, her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, and we have the hope to meet her one day in Heaven.

Waking up to the news of Aunty's Home call on Thursday, December 28 was extremely tough.
Williams Aunty, as us Sunday Schoolers would affectionately call her, was an Institution in herself.
Her love for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was infectious, inspiring, uplifting and exemplary.
Without a doubt, she was and will continue to remain as the best teacher in my life. Those notes that we made in her Sunday School classes often used to help me prepare sermons as a young minister unto the body of Christ.
All the stuff that we learned to do for the Kingdom of God - Evangelism, Christian Ethics, Singing, Worship, Theatre, Drama and Public Speaking/Preaching I learnt it from Aunty Williams.
Talking about Theatre, she was by far the best drama teacher anyone could have in his or her life. Her skills and knowledge in imparting the intricacies of performing arts was unparalleled.
She had deep knowledge of the Word of God and unearthing mysteries of the Kingdom of God had become a lifestyle for her. A real stalwart of Biblical knowledge and its application in daily living.
She had an amazing prayer life, many would go to her seeking to improve their daily walk with the Lord.
She had a kind heart and monetarily helped hundreds of families, including mine, be it times of exigencies, bereavement or wedding functions etc. She was for many the ever-present divine help provided from the Lord.
She was a huge blessing to dozens of Christian ministries and hundreds of Christian institutions the world over. She was globally renowned for her work among the women across multiple platforms in the Kingdom of God.
Where many Christian organizations continue to struggle with financial management, Aunty Williams set an astute example of how to run multiple Christian institutes and projects with aplomb.
She had correctly implemented the biblical principle and revelation of Giving - The more you give and sacrifice to the Lord, the more supernatural blessings and favors you will draw from heaven.
Above all, she was spiritually very sound, always exercising spiritual intelligence. She always knew what was the correct thing to say to people who would seek her counsel. In this way, she stood like a Mighty Prophetess for the body of Christ.
Till the very last, she kept on encouraging her Sunday School kids with daily devotional teachings and impartations over WhatsApp.
TILL WE MEET AGAIN AUNTY.
IN CHRIST WE HAVE HOPE OF A GLORIOUS REUNION.
HEAVEN IS REJOICING!
A tribute by Joshua Arpit Nath - her longtime Sunday School student, former responsible brother of House Of Fellowship and Currently Associate Pastor at His Nearness Noida church.

The memory is vivid – a snapshot from my 5th-grade days, receiving my first gold card on Independence Day from Ma'am. As the youngest in line, ma’am asked which class I am in. I replied- ma’am I am in 5th class, she exclaimed, "Wow, congratulations, Hannah – long way to go." Her words meant the world to me. A cherished picture freezes that moment in time, a keepsake that holds timeless significance. I feel blessed to have a picture with ma’am which I cherish till date. Your absence is deeply felt, ma’am. Rest in peace!

Sending my love and peace to Neena aunty's family. She truly lived an exemplary life. I and my family have been greatly blessed through her. She radiated a lot of enthusiasm and optimism , it was always a delight to attend her sunday classes and her morning assemblies. I believe she is at a better place now with her creator. May God's wisdom and peace stay with the family in this hour of grief.

Williams ma’am- your legacy at MCS shines brightly, and we were truly fortunate to have you as our founder. The image of you laying the foundation stone remains etched in my memory, a source of inspiration for us all. Your Tuesday assemblies were a highlight, not just for the wisdom you shared but for the eloquence with which you delivered it. MCS won't be the same without you, but every Carmelite is and will always be forever grateful to you for all that you have given us, and we strive to make you proud. The MCS family misses and loves you dearly.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Williams’ family and friends, and the entire MCS community. I walked into the gates Mount Carmel School in 1999, and throughout the school years and beyond Mrs. Williams has been a huge source of inspiration. Mrs. Williams was a remarkable leader, teacher, mentor, and a woman of Christ who always led by example. Her passion and presence always made us look up to her–whether it was the morning assembly speeches, her supervision during Annual Day plays or her interaction with the prefects. I cherished listening to the story of MCS every Founder’s Day from her, and it continues to give me so much hope and faith.

I am flooded with memories of her and every single interaction with her was awe-inspiring. It was a highlight of birthdays at school to take sweets to her office, and she would sweetly wish and chat for a bit, no matter how busy she was. Once I got an opportunity to play the role of Mrs. Williams in one of the Independence Day skits, and I was over the moon! I always aspired to be like her while growing up. She often shared in her speeches that one who is faithful in very little will also be faithful in much, and always encouraged us to strive for excellence. Such an amazing role model! Mrs. Williams mentioned that she didn’t want to be a teacher to begin with, and I am grateful that she became one. And as we celebrate her life, we look at God’s faithfulness, and I thank God for using her to bless countless people. Her values and teachings have profoundly shaped my personal and professional life. She will always live in our hearts and her legacy will endure eternally.

I consider it God's perfect timing and will, to have had Dr.Williams and Mrs.Williams play an instrumental part in my life. Their vision and ministry impacted many lives and continue to be a lighthouse to many.

My first interaction with Ma'am was in 2010 when I moved from the corporate to the educational sector. I met her to negotiate my salary before joining the school! While everyone around me said “In schools, we don’t do these things”, Ma'am was open to all my queries and concerns and even gave me an increase after our discussion! That was when I learned my first lesson from her -ask and you shall receive. She was always open to change and ideas and her invaluable support and unconditional love will always be cherished.

She was my mentor and guide through the years and I am always grateful for the opportunities and lessons she entrusted me with. I Thank God for her life - She was a Blessing to me. You will always be missed ma'am but I live with the hope of being reunited one day.

To my precious Mount Carmel family- school will never be the same without ma’am’s presence, but I know her legacy lives on forever. May the peace of the Lord rest and abide with each grieving heart.

Dear Mike, Suzanna Didi & Joanna Didi, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the departure of Neena Aunty. We possess happy memories of childhood in which she played a defining role. I looked up to her in terms of her creativity, articulation, and communication in English; she was also a spiritual role model. I loved being in her class when she taught English, as well as when she taught from the Bible during Sunday School at Moolchand. The memory of her coming to HoF, Moolchand, on her orange Luna is still vividly imprinted in my mind. We believe that she is in the Company of the Saints and is enjoying herself in Paradise, we pray for you as you celebrate her life and for shalom & comfort for the entire Williams family.

I rushed home that day to share the same with my family. Gave us so much hope for our dreams. God has been kind to me for giving me a chance to be a part of MCS and knowing she chose me 🤍

Dr. Neena Williams was more than a founder; she was the guiding light of our school, a beacon of inspiration for all who walked its halls. Her extraordinary leadership, eloquence, and unwavering devotion to her vision transformed mere classrooms into sanctuaries of knowledge and understanding.
Dr. Neena Williams' passion for education, her ability to articulate vision into action, and her deep-rooted faith in the Lord Jesus Christ shaped the very essence of our school's ethos. Her words were not just speeches; they were catalysts for change, seeds of wisdom planted in fertile minds, nurturing dreams and aspirations.
Dr. Neena Williams leaves behind a legacy that will forever remain etched in our hearts, guiding us forward with the same unwavering dedication, passion, and love that she bestowed upon us all. That her legacy extends far beyond the bricks and mortar of this institution will be revealed in eternity to come. Mount Carmel will forever be grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for everything that was accomplished through her life.

‘And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.’ (Revelation 21:4)

Having graduated out in 1989 I reconnected with the school in the early 2000s and since then have continued to remain in touch and watching how Dr. Williams continued flawlessly to fulfill every detail of the school she created. Dr Neena Williams invited me to the Mount Carmel School Annual Function in 1972 and ever since then, she and her beloved husband, Late Dr Vijay Williams had been close friends. I had seen Mount Carmel School from the time Dr Williams ran the School in the sitting room, verandah and every available space at their house in Anand Niketan, to its becoming one of the prestigious educational institutions in Delhi. This was due to this amazing couple's dedication to wholistic education for all, perseverance and hard work, and above all, their unstinted faith in God and devotion to the cause of the Lord Jesus Christ whom they unashamedly loved, served and worshipped with all their hearts. Theirs is an example hard to follow. The memory of Dr Neena Williams and Brother Vijay Williams will forever be etched in my heart. My first interaction with Mrs. Williams occurred in 6th grade, playing football after school hours in the assembly ground at MCS, AN. As a child of a staff member, my peers and I were engaged in the game when Mrs. Williams intervened, instructing me to communicate in English. As a consequence, she imposed a penalty, stating that for the next three weeks, I would have to contribute my weekly pocket money. It was later revealed that she promptly transferred it back to my mom. Mrs. Williams was known for her passion for building and transforming lives.

She leaves behind a remarkable legacy characterized by strength, resilience, and unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus. She was a visionary and a creative thinker. Her morning assemblies were captivating, setting the right tone for the day and creating a sense of unity within the school community. She had a unique talent for inspiring those around her.

Thanks, Ma’am, for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful family as both your student and a teacher. Still Can’t believe it. ❤️❤️

Behind every great person is an ordinary human being just like you and me. What makes the person great in our estimation are the choices that person makes. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Mrs. Neena Williams for twenty three years. In the last five years of my tenure, I stepped into Ma’am’s position as Principal of Mount Carmel School, Dwarka. For me, Mrs. Williams was always the Principal; I was her understudy.

I got the opportunity to study her closely. I remember walking into her office and being reminded that she had a busy day ahead and could only give me five minutes. The five minutes would stretch to fifteen minutes depending on the urgency of my queries. Ma’am taught by example as to what needed to be handled- was it urgent, could it be shelved or totally dismissed. At times I found her at her desk with papers spread and an anxious secretary guarding her door. What was it that occupied Ma’am’s attention? She was working on the fourth edition of the Procedures and Guidelines for Mount Carmel Schools. We all leave a legacy but most of us don’t intentionally work on it. Dr. Neena Williams was an exception. She leaves behind a rich legacy for those who are willing to live by the principle: “strive for excellence.” Working with Ma’am, I learned the importance of balancing work, having fun and investing in the lives of others.

Ma’am would remind me that she looked forward to hearing the commendation from the Lord Jesus: “Well done good and faithful servant.” I am sure she heard those words as she went to be with her Lord and Saviour whom she loved dearly, on December 28th.

My deepest sympathies to Dr. Michael and Ann,
Dr. Susanna and Dr. Gordon, Dr. Joanna and Dr. Sunil, Shruti and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. May the Lord Jesus be your comfort and strength.

I am the father of Chaitanya Manchineni, who is an alumnus of Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan (2011 - 2013) for plus 1 & 2. My daughter had a tremendous impact of Mrs. Neena Williams on her life. Apart from academics, she was impacted mentally and spiritually. Though I feel it has a loss for all of us especially the Mount Carmel Family, it is a gain for heaven. Ps. 116:15 is the fitting verse to the departed soul. May God console and strengthen the members of the bereaved family.

I have had the good fortune of knowing Dr. Neena Mohini Williams for the last 16 years. She was an inspiring leader for the Mount Carmel Schools. Her dedication to the cause of education in general, and the three institutions was phenomenal. Rarely have i come across a person with such dedication to her duties.
Having last met her at the Board meeting on 3rd December 2023, it is difficult for me to visualise her physical absence and guidance to us in future meetings. However, I am sure that from heaven above she will always be there to guide us in all endeavours in future.
I pray that the Lord above may grant peace to her soul and solace to the entire Williams' family.

At this moment, I offer my sincere condolences to the William family.
Mrs. Williams was and will always be an inspiration. Her vision to establish an institution that glorifies God and her grit to make it happen will always be remembered. I specially adored her passion for the arts and fondly recollect how excited she would be for every theatre production. That is something which will remain with me forever. God truly made her a blessing.
With both Mr and Mrs Williams passing away, it seems a beautiful age has come to an end. May God continue to honour their lives and make their legacy, one that lasts forever!

I have no word to describe about ma'am but the Book of Proverb says,
"She opens her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her filled hands to the needy [whether in body, mind, or spirit].
Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]!"

In 1998, under the leadership of Dr. V K Williams and William Ma'am, I embarked on a journey at MCS that profoundly shaped my professional and personal life. William Ma'am's mentorship played a pivotal role in my development. Over the last 25 years, I've consistently admired her approach in staff and department meetings, where every session was a learning experience demanding preparation. Recently, participating in her online Bible study revealed a depth of knowledge and teaching and that left a lasting impression on me.

When I heard the news of Mrs Williams' passing, I was grieved and sad about it. Maybe God had other plans for our dear ma'am. Her life has inspired and imprinted upon me in such a way that i can never forget these 25 years and those invaluable teachings.
I will miss you Ma'am. School will not be the same without your towering presence.

I joined MCS, Dwarka Junior School, Bamnoli in 2nd grade, and was a part of the pair of students who went to invite, first, Dr. Mrs. Williams and, then, Dr. Mr. Williams for the Annual Day of our branch in the same year.

I remember reaching the first floor of the senior branch through the semi-spiral stairs looking at the light entering through the mosaic glass in front, and being more nervous than I ever could've imagined, wondering what will happen afterwards when I actually meet ma'am. And so I, my friend, and the accompanying teachers, entered the gigantic office of ma'am, and I very confidently said "Good morning, ma'am, such and such, I invite you to such and such." And ma'am did not say much, she smiled very warmly to us and asked me one simple question, "So, when is the Annual Day?", and every cell of my body tingled inside, for I didn't have the foggiest idea. I gave her a date which was roughly a week more than the scheduled date, and ma'am corrected me with a slight frown, one which I miscalculated as anger, the miscalculation almost instantly being sensed by ma'am, who replied, "Oh, don't worry, come here, come here." With a tight warm hug, she said "You speak great, be a little more confident, nothing else, and I'll be looking for you on that stage on the Annual Day."

That first meeting of me with ma'am was perhaps when, a considerable portion of my stage fright, and the fear of public speaking evaporated from within me, even though I was only addressing one person.

Such was the aura of ma'am, a larger than life figure, a person of utmost knowledge, elegance, grace, love, and, faith.

I met ma'am a dozen times after that, most recently just after Covid-19, when I came to give a preboard in the school and she almost entirely shocked me by remembering me, and saying that she saw me on the online Investiture Ceremony, an event I was part of.

The sheer comfort and authority that ma'am possessed, often at the same time, was so incredible, so wonderful, so inspirational, I'd be surprised if even one of the students who's interacted with ma'am wouldn't have taken note of it, wouldn't've admitted to the sheer greatness of ma'am.

As she undertakes her final journey to God, I'd wish her the same which a friend once said to a Prince in Hamlet, and which a Prince said to a Queen not too long ago, May Flights of Angels sing Thee to Thy Rest.

Rest in peace, and power, ma'am.

I, Rajeev Tyagi, worked for 26 years under the guidance/command of Mrs Williams.

While studying at IIT Roorkee, I was told that Sis Neena is the support and power behind the ministry of Bro Vijay Williams. She runs charities, takes care of the hospitality of saints, and maintains strong finances.
It was with this adoration, that I looked at her when I met her first.

When I started working, I gave my first salary to her.

She dressed me well giving me good shirts and jackets on my birthdays. I could tell Bro Vijay that I received only ties from him, but as Mrs Williams has dressed me well, I have bought her the best saree I could. He said he would ask Mrs Williams to visit my home soon.

She loved math and something that Dr Michael could take inspiration from, she would often beat me in mental calculations. Both of us had our calculations basics in Hindi, apparent when she would do "itne satte", "aath dhaam", etc

We could joke about humanities and Science, and after we understood each other well, she would taunt me that after studying at IIT I am working in the school, that she set up.

Her administrative and financial skills are what folklores are made of. We have been thoroughly inspected many many times, and never a fault has been found in her workings.

She was financially honest to the core. I can strongly vouch for this - having worked for her for 26 years.

And, she always kept her word, even if it would hurt. She won't commit easily, but she will keep her word once committed.

She had great control over her anger, and never it has happened that her anger for someone comes out on someone else.

I have been trained well.
She never felt offended when I would insist on a written note or her signature over a decision made, a practice that we have maintained in the office for years.

Goodbye, Mam. You were a mother to me! Take good rest, you deserve every bit of it.

The small step she took in faith on July 10, 1972 established Mount Carmel as a epitome of education in India. Five decades of her inspiring leadership, astute stewardship, love and passion are the stuff legends are made of.
An institution where values such as integrity and discipline are made an integral part of life of students, who today number over 30,000 spread across the globe.

The Lord, Jesus Christ inspired a shy girl from the mountains of Himachal to build a stellar institution in the heart of the nation’s capital. May the fruits of this legacy celebrate together and continue this journey in faith.
On behalf of the students, staff, parents and countless alumni… a million thanks.

The Lord, in his wisdom, took the founder of Mount Carmel Schools to her heavenly home on 28th December 2023.
We deeply mourn her loss, but rejoice as we have a loving hope in Christ of seeing her again in heaven. She leaves behind a great legacy that God empowered her to build.

We, the Mount Carmel family, celebrate her life, wisdom and strength. To God be the glory.

Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.

Proverbs 31:29
